I wanna be in the in-crowd

Its all about labelling these days.... Gone are the good 'ol days when all you needed for appreciation was a great personality! GONE!! Now you feel inadequate if you dont have atleast ONE little expensive thing, that you paid through your ass for, and you know you're not even gonna f*$king use that much anyway! Coz you're too scared to use it, for fear of something happening to it, pathetic!!! really pathetic! Levi's, Soviet, True Religion, Louis Vuitton, Prada, Guess... All these things are the ultimate in fashion right now.... most chicks buy knock off's coz they cant afford the real deal... (and actually think they can get away with it, i mean HONESTLY gals!!) Why do you need a material thing to make you feel worthy? Thats just not what life is about! Be true to yourself! What is the most expensive thing you guys have bought and never used, simply to impress somebody?

Don’t spend money on clothing that make the rich even richer, spend money on nice looking clothes that are the same quality most of the time, help people that really need it. I think Proudly South African brands will be the best place start of with. And if you own a car that costs more than my house I think it’s wrong, you don’t need golden wheels!!!! You just need wheels good enough to take you where you need to go. Sam, have a good day.

You see… I know about a lot off nice cars that costs a lot less than my house, but if you start buying cars in the range of R300 000 and more I think its sick. You can buy a stunning car for R130 000 and even that is too much, but you can get away with that price, yes napalm most sports cars are faster and has DVD players and has the titanium parts bla bla bla we don’t need them dude.. Its luxury… that’s all it is… you don’t need it. Always think do you really need it then decide if you want to buy it. It’s ok to spoil yourself every once and a while. But R300 000… that’s just greed man.

PS.. Money sux, it makes good people evil.

Okay simmi. do agree on the clothes but darn with cars.... Houses got expensive, cant get a decent house for less than a million so a guese I can spend a milion on a car???

Darn what good car can you buy for 130 000??? you atleast need 200 000 for a good car, that is new... And I'll rather spen 2mil on a car and live in a small house than buy a decent house and drive a crappy entry level car...

Lol, smimmi, your talking to the guys from phase 1 racing here, they live for their cars! its a battle you're going to lose!

i'm not materialistic but who can say no to a convertable tigra, or a 307 peugot? dont worry about a mansion or designer clothes! the car will be nice thank you

SaM-GiRL said...

Gotta admit, the most I every paid for clothing was in Europe, and thinking relatively it might seems expensive for us but it's normal there to pay the equivalent of R1400 for a fishbone jacket. Never bothered much with labels concerning everyday clothes, coz I'm a child at heart and would spontaneously climb a tree, sit on a wall or on grass and don't want o be afraid of getting my clothes dirty. However, when it comes to evening wear, that's a different story... RE: cars, yes Cathrine, I have to agree on the Tigra, would exactly turn my nose up at one of those...
